Lambec Music Camp is traditionally held during the week containing the second Monday of July. It is a six-day/five-night summer camp which begins on Sunday afternoon and concludes the following Friday evening with a public concert.
Music Camp 2012 is July 8–13, 2012 and costs $365/camper. If the cost of camp would cause a financial hardship, please note that camp scholarships are generally available to help fund your children’s attendance, in part or in full.
Registration is open to all students who will have completed grades 3 through 12 in the summer, regardless of church/denominational affiliation. Registering as early as possible helps the Music Camp staff plan more effectively for the upcoming camp week. In addition, early-bird discounts may also be available through CAPNWP.
To register, you can either:
- Use CAPNWP’s online registration system and pay online.
- Download or find a copy of CAPNWP’s summer brochure, fill out the Youth Camp Registration Form, and mail it in along with payment.
Once you’ve registered with CAPNWP, you will receive additional information and forms from both CAPNWP and the Music Camp Program Coordinator. Letters are sent to both the parents/guardians and the campers, each explaining what’s in store for them this year:
- The parent/guardian letters describe the processes for bringing students to camp on Sunday afternoon (including what to pack and what to leave at home), coming to Friday night’s concert, and returning home afterwards with your campers.
- The camper letter includes a brief form to be returned to the Music Camp Program Coordinator. This form tells us what kind of band instruments your campers will be bringing, if any, to allow us to plan accordingly.
Please make sure you read these letters and are familiar with their contents before coming to camp. Return any and all forms promptly to the appropriate recipients to provide both the CAPNWP and Lambec Music Camp staff with the ability to best accommodate your campers.
We hope to see you at camp!
